This Red Blend offers a complex and inviting aroma of earthy notes of graphite and cedar mingling with blackberries, cherries, and plums. Hints of savory herbs, oregano and thyme add another layer of intrigue, while a touch of violets adds a floral note. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with velvety tannins that provide a smooth, luxurious texture. The dark fruit flavors carry through, complemented by hints of fresh walnuts. The finish is long and lingering, leaving you wanting another sip. All the wines were made separately and matured in new French oak barrels for 23 months. Then the blend was made up and left in a tank for a month (to marry) before being bottled and matured for five months prior to release. 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot, and 5% Malbec.
